Hills EC-3000 EVO – The Hill Electric Air Compressor Pump

The EVO has a number of changes and improvements in how the compressor works, including some great new features, making the Hill Compressor even more reliable, durable and with a better user experience.

Built in an Automatic Air Pressure Purge
This kicks in whenever the motor on the compressor stops, so when it goes into a cooling cycle and when a fill is paused or finished.
This not only takes the strain off the motor when starting again against very high pressures, but has the added benefit of purging the air, including any moisture from inside the unit.
This is very important for people filling larger rifles and or cylinders.

The new unit also benefits from our continuous improvement in R & D, including the new super durable Shuttle Valve, which we made from some quite exotic material.
Users should note that this shuttle valve does give the compressors a unique sound compared to other compressors out there on the market, but they are very efficient, extremely long lasting and when you hear that sound you will now instantly that it is a Hill Compressor!

New built in highly accurate digital pressure sensor with an additional analogue gauge, this is extremely accurate, but also means that you no longer need to re-calibrate the compressor during a major service.

The EVO can be set as low as 50 bar (755 psi) and up to 310 bar (4500 psi).

The EVO also benefits from completely new electronic architecture along with completely new software, as with all Hill products the electronics have been designed and tested in house by our own software, and electronics engineers, and believe it or not the PCB’s are manufactured here in Sheffield too.

All this has also been achieved whilst keeping The EVO at the same RRP as the EC-3000, a true feat of engineering!

If you are looking for the ultimate in moisture protection for your gun and compressor you can add The Hill Dry-Pac Pro which is fully compatible with both the EC-3000 EVO and the original EC-3000 models.

Both our crank and silicone oils have been specifically manufactured and designed for use with the EC-3000 and EC-3000 EVO Electric Compressors. No other oils should be used with the EC-3000 or EC-3000 EVO.

The Crank Case Oil (Red) is in the perfect size bottle for the unit as it takes almost the whole bottle to fill the crank properly on the initial fill, and should not need topping up for some time. When filling the crank oil please ensure that it is filled properly, this should require near enough the whole 50ml bottle.

The Silicone Oil (Clear) is used all the time by the pump and should need replacing after approximately 50 hours of run time, this is also the correct point to change the Crank Oil.

** Airgun Charging Cylinders and Tanks over 4 Litres can be filled over a few sessions if allowing the cylinder and the compressor to fully cool to room temperature between filling sessions. Please note that the fill pressure will reduce as the air in the cylinder cools down after filling. This is quite normal, simply top-up the cylinder again once it has fully cooled down.
